Linda Durham Book Signing

Famed gallerista Linda Durham, who showed and sold fabulous modern art for over 30 years at her Santa Fe gallery, unveils “The Trans-Siberian Railway Journey,” which chronicles her very personal experience traveling across Russia, giving away dozens of donated small artworks by (mostly) Santa Fe artists. Several of these generous donors are artists you’ve enjoyed at City of Mud shows!

Her experiences as a cultural ambassador, the people she met and adventured with, and their reactions to the art are documented in beautiful full-color photographs, journal entries, and her communications home by social media and email.

She read selections from the book and signed copies. The book was be offered at a $25 introductory price which helped her crowd-fund a wider dissemination to universities and libraries specializing in Slavic or art themes. We enjoyed refreshments, good company and a fascinating tale in our lovely event space.
