RARE EARTH/planetary beauty was a group show from June to September 2019, that featured over a dozen artists, who explored reverence for the natural world as filtered through each artist’s individual aesthetics and use of materials/techniques. Painting, glass, fiber, sculpture, photography and other media combined to create an immersive and entertaining environment. Artists included MF Baker, Jamie Chase, Elizabeth Billups, Julie DeFeo, Joseph Griffo, Mayumi Watanabe, Laird Hovland, and others.
